Thank you all for joining MeyerPT at this year’s AASPT conference! As a Gold Sponsor, we truly appreciate being a part of such a wonderful program. It’s always great to see some old friends as well as meet some new ones. And we were fortunate enough to host some rather interesting and well-attended breakout sessions!
Sue Falsone: “Bridging the Gap”
Sue Falsone joined us at the booth on Friday afternoon to discuss how a PT can work with their athletes and get them back to game shape. “Bridging The Gap” provides a guideline for putting patients into game situations with short and succinct movements, building confidence in their return from injury.
Dan Lorenz: Blood Flow Restriction – Growing Trend
Blood Flow Restriction was a big talking point at this year’s show, which certainly contributed to the big crowd surrounding Dan Lorenz at our booth Saturday morning! Focusing on the facts and eliminating some of the rumors, Dan provided the group with some much respected insight on the growing trend and its place in physical therapy.
Sue Falsone: Dry Needling 101
Saturday afternoon brought Sue Falsone back to our booth, this time for a demonstration on the basics of Dry Needling. With the help of a willing participant, Sue was able to provide a brief overview of needling, how to prepare and treat a patient and, most importantly, how to do so safely.
We certainly appreciate those that stopped by the booth for a session or simply to share your experiences with MeyerPT. We hope to see you all again next year!
