Dr. Travis Orth

PT, DPT, OCS

Travis has eight years of clinical experience as a physical therapist, having graduated from the University of New England in 2009 with a DPT degree.  Prior to attending physical therapy school he earned a Master’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI and completed his undergraduate education at Lawrence University in Appleton, WI.  Travis has published several articles in both scientific journals and magazines ranging from cell biology to plyometric strengthening in high school baseball players.  Recently he published an article in the International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy on the influence of genetics on rotator cuff pathology and future implications for sports physical therapists.  In 2015 he was selected for the APTA’s Sports Section Traveling Fellowship.  Currently, he is the facility manager of the Wheaton East Athletico clinic in Wheaton, IL.
