Mark De Carlo is Vice President of Clinical Services for Methodist Sports Medicine / The Orthopedic Specialists, led the development of the physical therapy department over the span of two decades, serving as Director of Physical Therapy for most of those years. He was instrumental in developing a multidisciplinary team approach to rehabilitation in order to ensure the best quality of care for the patients of Methodist Sports Medicine. Mark continues to be actively involved in the progress of the rehabilitation department and still sees clinic patients.
Mark served as President of the Sports Physical Therapy Section from 1998-2004 and currently serves as Executive Director. He also serves on the Indiana Athletic Trainers Certification Board and is Treasurer of the International Federation of Sports Physical Therapy. In addition, Mark is an Editorial Board Member of the International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy.
Mark has numerous publications to his credit and has been recognized by his peers with the following awards:
