Dr. Tabo started his professional career as an engineer with a Material Science Engineering degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He practiced in that field for approximately 3 years working for an aluminum manufacturing company in Evansville, IN.
Mike decided to switch to the physical therapy profession and received his DPT from the University of Miami – Coral Gables.
He began his physical therapy career in a private practice outpatient clinic setting in Viera, FL. Two years later, Dr. Tabo and his wife took their adventures to Las Vegas, NV where he continued to work in outpatient clinics for another two years. He then received an opportunity to direct his own clinic in Houston, TX. After running a successful practice in Houston, Dr. Tabo found himself back in Las Vegas working federal practice. After 3.5 years in federal practice as a section chief, Dr. Tabo decided to move his family to central FL to start a new chapter in his career, concentrating on higher education for physical therapist assistants.
Dr. Tabo uses an eclectic mixture of treatment methods that include IASTM, manipulations, dry needling, as well as corrective exercises.
Dr. Tabo has given multiple lectures at schools and meetings. His hobbies include Crossfit, Salsa dancing, and traveling with his wife and kids.
