Chad Beauchamp

PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS

Chad was born and raised in Michigan where he first began his interest in physical therapy in his early years of being an athlete. He started playing soccer when he could barely walk and continued his sports career varsity lettering in three high school sports. Chad’s real passion was football where he continued his sports career at the University of Central Michigan where he played for a short period of time before succumbing to injuries. This is where Chad learned his second passion in life was physical therapy. After spending four years on the dean’s list and graduating Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology and nutrition from Central Michigan in 2008, Chad decided to leave the cold and head out west to follow his dreams. He attended the University of Southern California for three years and received his Doctorates of Physical Therapy in 2011. Also during this time he became certified as a strength and conditioning specialist and emergency responder.

Immediately following graduation from USC Chad continued his education at the University of Cincinnati where he was a resident physical therapist for their football team on and off the field. After once again traveling across the country he decided he wanted to make his final destination in Southern California with the ProSport family. Since beginning with ProSport in 2012 Chad decided to once again continue his education completing a sports research residency with Evidence in Motion. Chad completed his post graduate studies in the spring of 2014 and became certified as a sports specialist in 2013. He has also been working with the USA surf team since 2012 and the USA beach volleyball team since 2013 where he travels both domestic and internationally. While Chad is planted in Southern California he works with Mater Dei High School sports teams providing athletic training room and game coverage. In his free time he loves being active at the beach where he lives in Newport. He is interested in getting his patients back on the field as quickly as possible and performing at an optimal level!
