Aaron Brock (better known as AB) of Storm Lake, Iowa, is in his eleventh year in 2016 as USA Volleyball’s Director of Sports Medicine and Performance. He also serves as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Men’s National Volleyball Team. He began creating an elite level inter-disciplinary medical and performance program when the men’s team moved to Anaheim, CA, in 2006.
The 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro will be his third time working with the U.S. Olympic Men’s Volleyball Team and his fourth overall (Men’s water Polo, 2004). AB’s 11-year USA Volleyball career has seen gold medals in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, 2007 and 2014 World League, and 2015 World Cup. He’s authored numerous articles and recently received USA Volleyball’s Jon Reeser Sports Science Award.
Aaron went to the University of Iowa for both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Prior to working with USA Volleyball he worked with various teams, including the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Cavaliers and North Central College in Naperville, IL.
Aaron lives in Tustin, CA, with his wife Kelly and their three children, Noah, Cameron and Bayla.
